At St. Patrick's we are a thriving Catholic community of pupils, staff, parents, family members, parishoners and friends of the school.
More information about the Catholic Life of our school can be found in the drop down menu above.
Children participate in worship every day at St Patrick's. Currently, this takes place daily in class and is led by staff and pupils.
Worship at home
Every Wednesday we will share a digital copy of the 'Wednesday Word' through our ParentMail system.
This newsletter-style document will allow you to discuss the Gospel and it's message along with some fun activities for you to complete at home together.
Christmas Afternoon Tea – Monday 9th December
Christmas Afternoon Tea
On Monday 9th December 2019 Class Rievaulx hosted our Community Christmas Afternoon Tea where we welcomed members of our school, church and wider Elland and Hullen Edge community. We welcomed representatives from Overgate Hospice and a local care home for the elderly.
Thank you to everyone that supported us in so many ways including food and monetary donations and coming along on the day! It was a fabulous occasion and the children in Rievaulx did a wonderful job! Well done!
Thank you also to Mrs Woffenden and the choir for providing wonderful entertainment for our guests!!
Choir Concert - Tuesday 9th April 2019
Our impromptu concert was a huge success and our choir were a joy to hear! Well done to everyone involved.
A special thank you goes to Mrs Woffenden and Mrs Clarke who have planned and led rehearsals throughout the year (and every year!) which our pupils thoroughly enjoy! Thank you also to family members who supported the music!
The Easter raffle was also a great success, raising £82.80 towards school funds! Well done to all of our winners! We wonder if you'll be able to save them for Easter Sunday?!
Sacrament of Reconciliation 2019
On Saturday 9th March 2019, the children from the Halifax Deanery made their Sacrament of Reconciliation (First Confession) at St. Bernard's Church. It was a fantastic time for all of the children to celebrate together and share their experience.
Well done to all of the children!
