Post Title: Teaching Assistant


Required from: September 2021
Responsible to: Class Teacher/Head of School
Salary: Scale 3 (£10.01 – £10.21 per hour)
Hours: 27.5 hours per week - Term Time Only, Permanent

A fantastic opportunity to join our small, friendly and hard-working school based in Elland.
Required from September 2021, or as soon as possible afterward, the children, staff and governors seek an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to work alongside a team of experienced and dedicated professionals who are committed to providing the best possible quality education and care to our pupils. The successful candidate need not be Catholic but must be supportive of the ethos of our school.

The person appointed will preferably hold recognised Teaching Assistant qualifications (please see person specification) and some prior experience working in a primary school setting. They will be expected to have a confident operational understanding of the role of a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School and have a practical understanding of key learning areas such as maths and literacy.

Salary: 1b - £9.43 per hour
Hours: 6.25 hours per week (Monday – Friday 12:00 – 13:15)
Term Time Only, Permanent

Required as soon as possible, the children, staff and governors seek an enthusiastic and committed Midday Supervisor to join our dedicated catering team, assisting in the active supervision of children throughout lunchtime during meals and playtime.
You will need energy and commitment to be an effective member of the team.
