Sacrament of Reconciliation (First Confession)

Children from the Halifax Deanery celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation and made their First Confessions at St Bernard's Church, Halifax.

Children can make their first confession in Year 3 or above.

Sacramental Preparation Sessions for 2025 will take place across the deanery from January 2025 - further information will be sent to families.

Sacrament of First Holy Communion

Sacramental Preparation Sessions for 2025 will begin in the Spring of 2025. 

Children will receive the sacrament at St Patrick's Church in Elland on Sunday 18th May during 10am mass.

Sacrament of Confirmation

Children can be confirmed when they are in Year 6. Sacramental preparation will begin in the Autumn term 2024.
