LENT & EASTER
In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
During this time we would traditionally fast or 'give something up' and we ask children to try to do this or to do something good every day and to keep a diary or a record of their 40 Deeds in 40 Days.
Easter Productions - Holy Week
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
During Holy Week, each class will perform live for their peers, friends, families and the community. Each class will present a part of the Easter Story every morning in the hall.
Performances start at 9:15am and we invite families and the community to join us in the hall from 9am.
Monday - Fountains and Bolton - Palm Sunday
Tuesday - Whitby - The Last Supper
Wednesday - Kirkstall - The Garden of Gethsemane
Thursday - Rievaulx - The Crucifixion
After the Easter break, we will celebrate the resurrection and share mass as a community.
