Having dyslexia doesn't mean you cannot be successful!
Hear more below from Chelsea - from Halifax - who has more to tell us about her own journey with dyslexia and the success she has achieved...
Did you know that 10—15% of people have dyslexia?
We know that dyslexia is still very misunderstood and can go undiagnosed for many years.
This year, Dyslexia Awareness Week was all about what dyslexia creates. Dyslexia creates artists, entrepreneurs and game changers, but we know that it also can create challenges, inequality and prejudice.
Children spent time over the week learning about what dyslexia is and how we can support people who are dyslexic without prejudice or judgement.
On Friday 9th October we invited all pupils to #goredfordyslexia Children came in their own clothes (non-uniform) and wore red for the day! All whilst raising some much needed funds for Special Educational Needs resources in school.
